The cities of Modena and Bologna will be protagonists in 2025 of numerous sporting events. Here are some of the events not to be missed.

HALF MARATHON OF ITALY – ENZO FERRARI MEMORIAL

The Half Marathon of Italy aims to give all participants a day to remember, where the runner can
can measure himself against himself in search of his personal best on the very fast 21-kilometre course. It starts from Maranello to arrive in Modena and experience the Half Marathon of Italy ‘Memorial Enzo Ferrari’.

EUROPEAN VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS – EuroVolley 2026

Together with Naples, Turin, and Milan, Modena will host the 2026 European Men’s Volleyball Championships.
Group A, featuring the Italian team, will move to the PalaPanini in Modena after the opening match in Naples, where all the group matches will be played.

COPPA DAVIS FINALS

Bologna will once again host the prestigious Davis Cup finalists, the most important competition for national tennis teams, the last three editions of which have been won by Italy.
